Coral Connect Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
1.1 The Coral Connect Rewards Card Scheme (hereafter referred to as the “Rewards Card” and the “Scheme”) is free to join and offers Coral Shop customers a number of different benefits from time to time as advertised in its Shops, when used in association with the Rewards Card.
1.2 The following Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to all participants of the Scheme.
1.3 Any reference to "You", "Your", or "Customer" within the Terms refers to any such Scheme participant.
1.4 References in the terms to "the Company", "We", "Our" or "Us" relate to Ladbrokes Betting & Gaming Limited (trading as Coral) who are responsible for the operation of the Scheme. Ladbrokes Betting & Gaming Limited is a company incorporated in England with company number 00775667 and with registered office at 3rd Floor, One New Change, London EC4M 9AF. Any reference to “Shop” refers to any Coral licensed betting office that is operated by the Company.
1.5 By registering with the Scheme and using Your Rewards Card to participate in the available promotional offers, You agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Registration and Verification Checks
2.1 You must be 18+ to participate in the Scheme and must first register at the Shop counter providing the Coral team with Your name and mobile telephone number for security purposes.
2.2 By providing details an automatically generated verification code will be sent to Your mobile phone handset which You must then relay back to the Shop team to complete the registration process.
2.3 You will also be asked to select Your marketing preferences at this time (mobile or none) and provide Us with Your consent to process Your personal data. Your personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Notice as displayed in shop. You may withdraw Your consent or update Your marketing preferences at any time by speaking to a member of a Coral Shop team. You may also opt to change Your Marketing preferences at any time using Your Rewards Card and PIN, or to ‘opt out’ by responding to any SMS received as indicated.
2.4 A Rewards Card will then be linked with Your registration details and issued to You, which will enable You to set up a ‘Personal Identification Number’ (“PIN”) and take part in the associated promotions currently available.
2.5 Your Rewards Card and PIN must be kept secure at all times and must not be handed (or divulged) to any other person. You should contact us immediately if You believe that use of Your Rewards Card has been compromised, or Your Rewards Card has been lost or stolen.
2.6 A PIN may be changed by presenting Your Rewards Card at any Coral Shop. You will be asked to authenticate Your Rewards Card and current PIN before being permitted to change this.
2.7 For verified Rewards Card customers (see 2.2), a new PIN may also be requested via SMS by speaking to a member of the Shop team.
2.8 For lost or forgotten PIN’s linked with ‘non-verified’ Rewards Card customers, a PIN may be changed by contacting Customer Care quoting Your full Rewards Card details (following successful authentication).
2.9 We will not be responsible if You deliberately or accidentally allow Your Rewards Card to be used by another person and that results in any personal loss to you.
2.10 We may request suitable proof of ID (such as a driving licence) at any point of the registration process and will verify that the mobile number information You have provided is correct and up to date.
2.11 Where You provide incorrect details which result in messages being sent to and received by somebody other than You, We will not accept any responsibility or liability if these details are verified by somebody else.
2.12 Whilst We carry out any further verification checks that may be required, You accept that We may have to withdraw elements of our services to You (e.g. further bet acceptance and use of the Scheme) until such time that our checks have been completed.
3. Promotions
3.1 From time to time We offer various promotional offers and prize competitions as part of the Scheme.
3.2 Each such offer or competition will have its own set of rules, details of which are available to You via in-shop promotional marketing of by asking a member of the Shop team.
3.3 It is Your responsibility to ensure that you read and understand the offer terms and that You comply with them in order to qualify for the respective offer or prize competition and also to allow for redemption of said offer or prize.
3.4 Unless otherwise stated, all transactions involving Scheme odds enhancements will be settled in accordance with our Shop Rules, facilitating payout at the Shop counter as normal.
3.5 Where entry into a Scheme prize competition results in a prize being awarded, please refer to the respective competition terms for how to redeem Your prize.
3.6 To qualify for any Scheme promotion or prize competition, You must present your Rewards Card to counter staff at the time of qualifying bet placement or entry submission and then complete any requirements of the promotion or prize competition.
4. Safer Gambling and Self-Exclusion
4.1 We recognise that although for most gambling is fun, for others it may become an issue. As a result, we provide a self-exclusion facility for those wanting to control their gambling. Self-exclusion is a formal process whereby You request Us to prevent You from being able to enter specified Coral Shops for a ‘renewable’ period of 12 months. To find out more you can pick up a ‘Safer Gambling’ leaflet in any of our Shops or ask a member of the Shop team for further information.
4.2 If You enter into a self-exclusion agreement whilst a member of the Scheme, and we are able to match your verified Rewards Card details with those provided on your self-exclusion agreement, this will automatically result in the suspension of Your Rewards Card from the Scheme.
4.3 If You are self-excluded You will not be eligible to enrol in the Scheme during the period of Your self-exclusion.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 The Rewards Card given to you will at all times belong to Us. You agree and acknowledge that all intellectual property rights relating to the Rewards Card, the Scheme and Coral belongs to Us or Our licensors. You may not reproduce or otherwise use Our intellectual property without Our express written consent.
6. General
6.1 These Terms are correct at the time of print (April 2023 for leaflets in shop) and are subject to change. We may update these Terms and/or our general Shop Rules at any time.
6.2 If Terms are updated, We will make reasonable efforts to ensure that any significant changes to the Terms are notified to You by an appropriate method (for example a text to the mobile number provided at registration), before such changes are implemented.
6.3 Continued use of Your Rewards Card in accordance with the Scheme rules following a change to any of the Terms will be deemed to be acceptance of any changes We may make.
6.4 We reserve the right to withdraw any Rewards Card from the Scheme at any time and for any reason.
6.5 Only You are eligible to use Your Rewards Card. Your Rewards Card and Scheme registration is not transferable and should not be used by any person other than You.
6.6 You may only hold one Rewards Card and one Scheme registration at any time.
6.7 We will only use the contact details provided at registration for the purpose of setting up, operating and managing Your Rewards Card Scheme membership (and to notify You if You are a competition prize winner). We may also share this information with approved third parties where needed to verify the accuracy of the information You have provided.
6.8 The information We collect from You will be used in accordance with Our full terms and conditions and Privacy Notice available in shop.
6.9 It is Your responsibility to notify Us of any changes to Your contact details including a change of name or mobile number.
6.10 These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are outside of England and Wales then the laws applicable to the jurisdiction of the shop in which you signed up to the Rewards Card Scheme will apply.
