Lotto Rules

Bets are accepted on Irish, Spanish and New York Lottos, 49s and Rapido. Bets are accepted on the UK Lotto and EuroMillions in ROI shops only.

Unless otherwise specified, these events cannot be combined in accumulative bets, e.g. a bet on the number 41 on two consecutive 49s draws in a double cannot be accepted.

Shop Rules

Bets are accepted on all Lotto draws until a 'no more bets' message is given. Bets accepted after the ‘no more bets’ message will be void unless it can be confirmed that the bet was accepted prior to the draw actually starting.

The bonuses and consolations associated with our speciality bets do not apply to Lotto bets, e.g. the double the odds bonus on one selection correct in a Lucky 15 will not be paid. If one of the scheduled draws does not take place, bets will stand for the next draw to take place unless it is cancelled by mutual consent before another draw is made.

Incorrect Bet Instructions

Unclear Selection

If a number detailed on a betting slip cannot be understood, the number will be treated as void and the odds will only apply to the numbers that can be understood. For example, if a bet on the '3 numbers correct' section consists of two numbers that can be understood and one number that cannot, it will be settled on the odds which apply to the '2 numbers correct' section.

Selections Repeated

If a number is repeated, it will be ignored and the bet will be settled on the valid numbers chosen at the appropriate odds. For example, if ten numbers are chosen on a Rapido bet, but the number 23 is repeated, the bet will be settled as a nine number bet (23 will only be included once).

Error Regarding the Draw

If no draw is specified the bet will be placed on the next available draw. Where a draw is specified by date and/or time, and by name, but is placed late, the bet will be void. Where a draw is specified by name (e.g. lunchtime draw) but is placed late, then it will be settled on the next draw matching the specification (i.e. the following day's lunchtime draw, unless cancelled by mutual consent prior to that draw).

In the case of Rapido bets where a specific date is not included (e.g. if draw 3 is specified on a Rapido slip after draw 3 has taken place), the bet will be settled on the next draw, unless cancelled by mutual consent before another draw has taken place. If the day or draw has not been specified on an Irish Lotto bet, the bet will be settled on the next main draw to take place. If the bet is placed on the 49s, it will be settled on the next available draw. If the 6 or 7 number draw has not been specified for 49s or Irish Lotto, the bet will be settled on the 6 number draw. If a scheduled draw does not take place for any reason, then bets will be void, however if bets are placed on a draw that was never scheduled to take place e.g. Christmas Day 49’s then bets will be settled on next draw to take place at that time, e.g. lunchtime draw bets on next lunchtime draw, teatime draw bets on next teatime draw.

Irish Daily Millions

With the introduction of the 2pm Daily Millions draw, in addition to the usual 9pm draw, we will treat the two events as separate until further notice. Daily Millions bets for the 9pm draw can be placed via quick slips as usual, however, for bets to be considered for the 2pm Daily Millions draw, the bet must be written clearly on a plain slip. Any bets placed late or without clear instruction as to which draw was intended will not rollover from the 2pm draw to the 9pm draw. Any rollovers will be from the 2pm draw to the following day's 2pm draw, and from the 9pm draw to the following day's 9pm draw.

More than One Draw Selected

If more than one draw is specified, the numbers selected will apply to the number of draws in a row. For example, if four draws are specified on a Rapido bet, the numbers selected will count for the next four Rapido draws to take place after the bet has been accepted.
