General Rules

Bets on Virtual Sports are settled the same way as for normal horse, greyhound or sports events. The outcome of the event depends on the number selected by a Random Number Generator (RNG). Each selection in the given virtual event is weighted according to its odds.

The higher the price the less numbers will be allocated to it and therefore the less chance it has of being selected as the winner. However, if it does win, the odds and payout will be correspondingly higher.

The overall payout will therefore be in proportion to the chances a selection has of winning, with a percentage deducted. This deduction leaves an average return to the customer of between 50% and 97% depending on the specific game played and the number of runners. The margins for Inspired Virtual Sports and Playtech Virtual Sports are detailed here within each sport. The RNG has been independently tested by a UK Gambling Commission accredited testing supplier.

Selections taken from different Virtual Events may be combined in Win and Each-Way multiple bets (e.g. Doubles, Trebles, Accumulators, etc). Place only bets are not accepted. The place part of Each-Way bets will be settled using the usual place terms. A virtual event may be described as a handicap to signify the place terms on this event. It does not indicate an equal chance for every selection.

We offer up to 3 different markets:

When you choose a win bet in horse racing, your selected horse needs to win the race outright. This means that, for you to receive a payout, your selected horse can only finish in first place. If you place an each way bet you are having two bets your horse to win and your horse to finish in the denoted numbers of places at a fraction of the odds e.g. Each Way 1/5 The Odds A Place 1-2-3. A bet placed at 10/1 1/5 odds 1-2-3 is 2 bets 1 win bet at 10/1 and 1 place 1-2-3 bet at 10/1 x 1/5 so 2/1.

When you choose a place bet, your selected horse needs to finish in the top two positions. If your selected horse finishes third with a place bet, you will lose your stake.

When you choose a show bet, your selected horse needs to finish in the top three positions for you to receive a payout. Each of these straight bets offer different odds and payouts, depending on the event and the likelihood of your selected horse winning the race.

Legends

Legends is a virtual representation of what might have happened had top-class horses from the 1960s through to the current day been able to race against each other in the top races. The races take place on 3D representations of the racecourses where Britain's best races are run such as Epsom, Goodwood, Newmarket and York. The win probability of each runner is weighted to reflect its racing characteristics - ability, going and distance preferences, jockey, and trainer. The glorious uncertainty of horse racing is reflected in a further adjustment randomly selected from a set of values based on an analysis of horses' likelihood of performing above or below expectations.

General Rules:

• Each race starts with a view of each of the runners in the paddock alongside which is a summary of their race record, preferences where relevant, price and ability rating. A visualisation of the race starts at the race scheduled time.
• A replay of the closing stage of the race is played immediately after the horses cross the line, followed by a short result showing the first three finishers and their odds.
• All bets will be settled at the fractional odds stated.
